Christmas in Orange and Blue


I made this 5x7 card for the rubysrainbow.blogspot challenge Vintage. I made a blue card and added an orange textured backing.
I cut a blue then orange strip and added a strip of gold peel offs. I colored in the design on the peeloffs with a red copic. I found a vintage image that I backed in blue card and popped it up with dimentionals.

Snowman Wishes


"Merry be your Christmas" says this vintage snowman with a tip of his hat! I made a 5x7 card and added a textured green background. I cut a strip of red then green and added a row of rhinestones. I popped the vintage image backed on red with dimentionals and did the same to my greeting. I entered this card in the http://audsentimentschallengeblog.blogspot.com/ enjoy your day or something to make someone smile. It made me smile :-)

Wishes at Christmas Time Card


I made a 5x7 card in green and added a marbled background print for the christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.com/ Holly or Ivy. I cut a strip of green then turquoise and added matching dots with stickles. I punched some green squares and added a small blue dot to each with a stickle center. Love this sweet vintage image with Holly branches in the background and backed it on green and then popped it up. Made my greeting backed it and popped it up too!

Boy with Christmas Apples






This card was for the craftycatzweeklychallenge 92 no pink or blue allowed. I made a red card and added a marbled background print. Cut a strip of red then green and made some red stickle dots. Found my apple boy digi and colored the apples with red stickles and backed it in red and popped it up. Added my greeting to red card and popped it up too.

Knocking on Christmas Door


I made this 5x7 card for the http://creativecraftchallenges2.blogspot.com/ pretty blossoms challenge. I made a green card and added a marbled backing print. I cut a strip of green then red and added holly green stickle dots. I painted a Prima flower and leaves with extreme glitter paints and added a green rhinestone to the center. I found a sweet vintage image and backed it in green then popped it up with dimentionals.

Snowman in the Woods

I made this 5x7 card for the  http://abcchristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge N is for No Nonsence (DP). I started with green and added a red background. I added a strip
of green card and did some stickle dots. I found a sweet vintage snowman digi and added a green backing. I painted the the snow on the trees and a bit on the ground with extreme glitter paint. I applied glossy accents to the snowman to"raise him up". I popped it up on the card with dimentionals. I added mt greeting to a green background and popped it up too. A nice Christmas scene!

Girls and their Cats Christmas Cards


I made these 5x7 cards for the My Sheri Crafts Challenge Faithful Companions and the  http://www.doitwithdigischallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge must include an animal and use a digi image. I added a holly and sparkle berry print to the first card background and and a green dotted print for the second background. I added a strip of red cardstock to each card and made some dots with stickles. I chose two vintage prints with cats as backed them with red card and popped them up with dimentionals!

Vintage Ladies in Hats Christmas


Thought is would be fun to make 2 Vintage Lady in Hats Christmas Cards. For the first card I made a red 5x7 card and added a cream sponged background print.
I added a red strip with a green strip on top. I  added red stickle dots to the strip. I found a vintage image and mounted it on red cardstock and popped it up
with stampin up dimentionals. I used glossy accents on her head and hair (like a cameo). Not sure if you can see it but it looks so cool!! I added a prima flower that I painted with extreme glitter and put a red rhinestone in the center.


The second card I made an Olive green card and added a green glitter background print. I made a strip of green then red then green and added red rhinestones to it. I chose my second vintage lady and backed her in green and popped her up with dimentionals. I painted the green on the print with extreme glitter for the always needed glitz!

Three Sweet Christmas Mice

I made this brown 5x7 card for the bah-humbug-christmas.blogspot challenge  Meeces. I used a
dotted print for the background at left and piece of metallic cardstock  at right. I covered the seam with a
strip of red card. I added gold stickle dots to the strip. I found a sweet vintage print with my mice and mounted it on metallic and then brown cardstock and used dimentionals to pop it up. I stamped on white and then heat embossed my greeting and placed it on metallic then brown card and popped it up as well. I also entered it into the allsortschallenge.blogspot free and easy July.

Throwing Snowballs

I made a green 5x7 card and added a strip print background. I cut a strip of green and punched out some squares. I added a pearl to the center of each square. I chose a vintage print and mounted it on green card with dimentionals to pop it up. I used glossy accents on the snow balls the little boy is throwing. They really stand out! Christmas Carols in the Snow

I loved this sweet image of doggies singing Christmas songs in the snow! I made a purple 5x7 card.
I added a dark purple dot print background. I added a couple strips of purple cardstock with rhinestones on them. I mounted the print on purple cardstock and popped it up with dimentionals. I stamped the greeting and colored the C with purple and red to match and then mounted it on purple cardstock and used dimentionals to pop it up! I have entered it into the following challenges.

Two Angels and Pearls

I made this card for the Anything With Wings Challenge at onestitchatatimechallenge and decide to do a Christmas card. I chose a vintage image of two angels looking dreamy in the clouds. I made a 5x7 card with brown cardstock and added some metallic brown card to back the picture and under the strip of pearls.

Tilda and Her Christmas Puppy

Tilda loves her new Christmas puppy! I made a 5x7 Red card for the christmasblogchallenge Christmas Presents and the magnoliadownunderchallenges Your Favorite Things (Puppies and Presents) . I used a Christmas tree print that I painted
with extreme glitter paint. I also painted the ribbons on the presents. I colored Tilda with watercolor paints and Copics. I added extreme paint as well. I popped her up on the presents with dimentionals. I used gold peeloffs on a sticker label and placed the sticker on red cardstock. I added a small red rhinestone to the hole in the tag and then popped it up with dimentionals.

Bad Kitty getting into the Christmas candy canes! I made this 5x7 card
from red cardstock for the TotallyTilda Challenge Tilda with her cat or dog. I added a background print and added some
red flowers that I cut out from another print to the "walls". I painted them with glitter paint and
used stickles on the flower centers. I also added glitter paint to the dots on the background print.
I cut out the Christmas plant from another print and added glitter paint and glued it down. I painted
Tilda and her cat with water color pencils then added some sparkle with glitter paints. I popped her up with dimentionals. I used gold peel offs for the Merry Christmas greeting.

Girl Caroling in the Snow


Love this Joanna Sheen image of a little girl caroling! I decided to
make 3 green 5x7cards and enter them in the thecraftypad challenge Holes. I used metallic gold cardstock for the base
and mounted my images and sentiments on green card. I added extreme glitter paint
to one image.

I used 3 different edge punches to make holes on some green cardstock strips
and added a gold strip to each and used Holly stickles to make dots.
I popped up the images and sentiments with dimentionals.


I added a strip of gold peeloffs (with different designs and holes) to each card!



Christmas and Snowflakes

I made this card for the bah-humbug challenge Snowflakes . I used a digi image Tasty Flakes. I colored her with copics and painted over her with extreme glitter paint. I used stickles to add texture to the snow and to pop the snowflakes. I made a 5x7 card in purple and added
2 different snowflake prints as toppers. I seperated the prints with a strip of purple. One print had Merry Christmas on it already. I added some purple rhinestones to the strip and then popped up my image with dimentionals.
I added 3 flowers with rhinestone centers.

A Lady Some Lace Some Rhinestones and a Dog


I started with this beautiful image of a lady and her dog for this collection of three 5x7 cards.
I made a dark brown card I added a rose print topper to one and beige toppers to the others.
I left one image plain and added extreme glitter paint in gold to one, and hologram to another. I made 3 different "lace" strips in metalic gold with punches. I added a plain strip same color as the topper card and put a strip of sticky backed pink rhinestones on one, gold on another and pearls on the last.


I placed the images and sentiments on gold cardstock and popped them up with dimentionals.
My favorite is the rose one.

Tasty Flakes and her little dog too!


I finally tried the piecing that I have seen others doing. So fun!! I used the Tasty Flakes image and 2 cute prints for the outfits. I flocked the gloves, hat edge and hat tassel. I cut out the image and added their outfits. I made two 5x7 cards and added a metallic white backing then some gold metalic card on top of that. I cut some "snow" out of more white metallic paper. I used the gold and white metallic card to back the greetings as well.



I found some dog stickers and put them on card and cut them out. Popped up the girls, dogs and greeting with dimentionals then added stickle dots for the snowflakes and snow on ground. Those flakes really do look tasty!! Lots of glitz hope you can see it!

White Plus One Color Christmas Cards Three Versions


For the White plus one color challenge over at A Spoonfull of Sugar as well as the Winter Wonder Land Colors of Christmas and christmascardchallenges and Just Magnolia challenges. I made three 5x7 cards and used two different snowflake prints for the backgrounds. I cut three circles in white and painted them with extreme glitter paint. I added another circle cut from each of the backing prints and placed them on top.


I cut strips of blue and red cardstock and added some white ribbon on top/ I colored my stamped Tilda in copics and painted extreme glitter on the white and the blue and red areas. I popped the Tilda's up with some dimentionals. I added my sentiments on cardstock and popped them up too.

 

I painted 3 flowers for each card with extreme glitter and added some stickles to the centers and added them to the strips on each card. Three cards all white with one color!
