Christmas Tasty Flakes With Flower & Paper Piecing

I made this 5x7 card for the http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com Paper Piecing Challenge. I made a red card with a plain card topper. I added a strip of red cardstock and a striped ribbon. I used one of my favorite images Tasty Flakes and paper pieced her. I added stickle snow and flakes and backed her with one of the prints and
red cardstock. I added my own sentiment and backed it on the print and red card. I popped both the image and the sentiment up. I painted Prima leaves and a flower with extreme glitter and added a green rhinestone center.

Styling Bday

Lots of shimmer and shine with this card. I made a gold 5x7 card. I added a topper of blue that I had "stickled" with gold dots. I cut two strips of card in blue and gold and added a blue prima flower at each side. Stamped my greeting and backed it with blue card and a piece of card I colored with a gold glitter pen. I popped it up. I stamped my image and colored parts with a blue and a gold glitter pen. I cut it out with spellbinders and then cut a larger piece that I colored edges with a blue and a gold glitter pens. I popped it up with dimentionals and added a blue flower with gold stickle center to each side. I entered this card in the following challenges.

Vintage Lady Birthday

Yes two is better! I like making two variations when trying new things. I used pearlex powders and a stampin up stamp days gone by. for the image. I sealed them and backed them on two different layers of card. I made a turquoise and a burgundy card in 5x7. I added a glitter and a vintage print on each. I placed a strip of matching card to cover the seam and added rhinestones and pearls to each. I stamped my image backing it in the two layers as well and popped images and greeting up with dimentionals. I entered them in the following challemges

Tasty Flakes Gold and Paper Piecing Times Two

It's hard to make just one!  I did some paper piecing of Tasty Flakes. I used two different prints along with gold cardstock and two different yellow cardstocks. I added stickles to each for the snow and snowflakes, backed them each with some of the printed card and some yellow card. I popped each up on a yellow 5x7 card with a metallic gold backing that I had put strips of different cardstock and gold peeloffs. I added my greetings and popped them up and placed a metal gold star below each greeting. I did these cards for http://phindysplacechallenge.blogspot.com/2011/08/phindys-place-challenge-67-anything.html Anything Goes.
